Revlon

Revlon, a multinational company, based in New York City, was founded by brothers Charles and Joseph Revson and Charles Lachman, in 1932.
A new type of nail enamel was their first product. Since then they have become one the largest cosmetic companies in the world, employing thousands of people all over the planet.

In 1968 they introduced their first fashion designer fragrance, Eterna27, by Norman Lorell. Later they launched Braggi and Pub, for men.
Two years later the perfume Charlie appeared, raising sales figures to over 500 million dollars.

Since then many changes were made in the company, however the brand Revlon still remains famous in the world despite losses in 2011-2012.

An important issue concerning health and moral behavior is their statement as it appears on their website:
“Revlon does not conduct animal testing and has not done so since 1989.”
